Did anyone else expect TFiOS to end in the middle of a sentence?
YES.
Partway through the book, I just stopped, stared at the page and said to the book “John Green, if you end this in the middle of a sentence I will hunt you down and punch you in the face…”
So, I’ll just be over here. Crying and laughing and hating the world and loving the world and just being a person. Yep.
Happy TFIOS Day, Nerdfighteria.
It’s still in its wrapping paper.
It’s been sitting next to me all day so I can grab it at midnight, rip open the paper, and start reading.
I’ve discovered that it’s not good to have it within sight, because that thing is tempting!!
But no, I will not read it until January 10. I will not open it until midnight. I CAN DO THIS!
Remember to save after signing!

My mistakenly released copy of The Fault In Our Stars which was just delivered, in the box, on my bookshelf, and shall remain there till January 10th! The books actual release date. I’m sorry this happened to you John!
A single image that sums up the amazing response everyone has had to the very unfortunate premature shipment of some copies of The Fault in Our Stars. I’m not gonna lie: This made me cry a little.
This came today. I’ve wrapped it so I’m not tempted to read it before January 10.
I haven’t opened it. It’s out of the box, and I looked at it, but I have not opened the covers. I didn’t even check to see which signature I got. I admit, this part was hard :) I’m putting a puzzle together with the family right now, but tonight, I’ll post a picture of the front cover of the book, and then I’ll wrap it up like a present, put it on my bookshelf, and avoid further temptation until January 10.
